My story begins in 1970s South Africa where I grew up in a significantly progressive, design-thinking family, going on to anti-apartheid student leadership on the fiery campuses of the 1980s and newsrooms of the transitional 90s. Now, after 20 years in the US and UK, egalitarian, forward-thinking individual and institutional advancement is still central to everything I do—these days as a management educator. Learning is the primary lever of upliftment, and leadership education is the highest-value leverage point because leaders influence the well-being and evolution of so many. So I work in executive education as program developer and teacher. As an INSEAD MBA, I advise organizations toward wiser education investments. As graduate of the U.Houston MS in Strategic Foresight, I write and speak on tomorrow's opportunities, and host workshops and seminars guiding learning pathways to address change and uncertainty for major companies and branches of government. As UCT GSB Ph.D., I'm a former University Director of Executive Education, and academic director and faculty lead.
